PFI Staff

Charles M. Ware Charles Ware – Executive Director
Charles currently serves as Executive Director of Professional Fitness InstituteTM, the premier provider of personal training curriculum to the career college sector. Charles is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO, where he received Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Exercise and Sport Science. Charles came to PFI in 2005 with 10+ years of training with various populations with an emphasis on corporate fitness and wellness and sport-specific training. In his tenure with PFI, Charles quickly made his way through the ranks, starting out as an instructor and becoming Personal Training Program Coordinator, then changing paces and moving to Distance Education and becoming the Online Program Coordinator. He helped launch the Personal Training program for the brick and mortar campus, as well as the Online Division of Pinnacle Career Institute. As Director of Education for Pinnacle Career Institute, Charles was able to create and sustain an environment of academic and professional excellence for both students and education team members. Charles is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a Certified Health Education Specialist and a former licensed EMT-P (Paramedic) with the State of Missouri. Kristina Lindquist Kristina Lindquist – Education Support Coordinator
Kristina is originally from Massachusetts and currently resides in Las Vegas, NV. After completing her undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kristina pursued a career in the fitness industry. As a trainer, she worked with amateur to elite and professional athletes, “average Joes and Janes,” firefighters, law enforcement officials and medically complex clients. Kristina became a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 2003 and shortly thereafter decided to return to graduate school to further her understanding of motor control and learning. In 2006, she graduated from UNLV with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology. Kristina is deeply interested in the interaction between brain and behavior: how we can use this relationship to help clients better understand their current exercise and nutrition habits and how we can use behavior to shape their future success.
